17th SDG: ALLIANCES TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS.
Goal 17th plays a very important role, as the name suggests, it ensures the revitalization of the global alliance for sustainable development. Goal 17th represents the last of all the Sustainable Development Goals settled out in the 2030 Agenda.
That’s why the goals proposed before the 17th cannot be achieved without the commitment of global alliances and cooperation. The 2030 Agenda is an universal action plan and involves all countries in the world, both developed and developing countries, to take steps to ensure that no one is left behind, which is why is there the need of cooperation from different institutions like- governments, civil society, scientists, the private sector and education.
Today, the world is more interconnected than ever and this aspect must be taken advantage to exchange ideas and foster innovation through the cooperation of all the agents involved.
Otherwise, major development challenges must be addressed with the complicity of knowledge and capital agents to ensure a solid project funding base. The participation of the indigenous young generations is fundamental as the basis of a social movement that must guarantee mechanisms of governance, transparency and optimal management of resources.
